Really?! I thought this show can't disappoint me anymore and here I am. This episode is still full of WTF moments that I don't even know where to start.

First, is this really the best plan Ittoki can think of? Walking in to make the criminal confess, really? What will happen if Kidou WON'T confess? Does he have a plan B? What about the camera footage he received from Suzaku in the last episode? Was that not enough to put a charge on Kidou? Where is it now, even?

And if Kirei and Ryouko didn't come (also Kosetsu and Tokisada didn't join him since the beginning), how did he think he would reach Kidou? "I'm coming here to talk". Yeah, right. Kouga would definitely listen and WON'T kill you on spot. Where's his brain cell from the previous episode?

Also, why Tokisada needs to be on the run? That was clearly an act of self-defense. If ANNIN can't drop the charge on him or even lighten his punishment (with is still undeserved, IMO), why the does it even exist? Like I said before, this organization is totally a tax waster since it can't do its job.

This show keeps disappointing me to no end. When I started, I predicted it would be a little bit meh, but, oh boy, how wrong I was. From the nonsensical plot development to the lackluster characters, it turned out to be the worst show of this season by far. studio A-CAT from the Farming Skill should have thanked TROYCA for not letting it be the dead last again. The only good thing it can boast about is the animation and that's just above average. Aside from that, everything is a total train wreck. 2.5/10 is what it deserves and I'm being generous.

good does not qualify the best shinobi to ittoki plotwise vs boruto proove otherwise that it is good compared to the later which a lot of previous fans who watch it's prequels was considering to be one of the best animes they have watched.

I drop boruto altogether cause that feels like a shinobi wannabe show where a brat whines unlike its predecessor naruto season 1.

shinobi no itoki was alsoa good show proving the ideals of ninja to grit their teeth and NOT FUCKING WHINE like what you are doing.

It feels rushed imo. Could be better the art, music everything except for story was good. I am starting question the Japanese animators' abilities to deliver.

I think if it was lengthened any further it would have then gone worse. The MC wouldn't have gotten any better and would still be unworthy of that core, surprised he used in the last fight without needing a breather and the ending would still suck.

The writing for the show is all over the place - I think they just came up with the initial premise and then didn't actually script anything out until around the time the show was less than half a year from airing.

One of the biggest indicators with script issues is that they have too many different plot elements trying to exist here...and you can totally see this problem even within the first two ads that ran for this show awhile back.
They painted two completely different pictures of the show. The first made it look like some kind of modern day version of Basilisk with cyberpunk elements and the second ad made the show look like a harem rom-com where all the girls were really into Ittoki. Talk about whiplash.

That dialogue doesn't count as confession or evidence in any legal system because it fails every guideline for such type of evidence. What happened in the show had about the same weight as if you say to your friends that you killed John Kennedy. Because white-haired dude responded to the obvious provocation on MC side and can defend himself saying that he tried to provoke the kid.

Tokisada tried to protect the kids, not himself so self-defence not the argument.
Entire assault of Koga HQ by was illegal (they obtained justification midway into it), it was writer error that "ninja police" overlooked this, but show's seems to be run by typical movie-ish whim-based law systems, instead trying to be organized like some real-life, for example, Japanese.

Why "ninja police" let him go is other question, they obviously have strong favoritism issues.

Also, why red-haired dude suddenly became head of Koga? He would be viewed as a traitor who helped an illegal attack on his own clan base and his current boss, also he attacked other Koga ninjas performing their duty protecting the clan base.

the show I expected to be nothing ended up impressing me the most in Renai Flops, episode 8 really threw me through a loop, this show has been as predictable as it started

the footage he got was only a charge against a internal dispute ncs has greater and graver charges like having other villages be destoryed and the destruction of all shinobi when they are somewhat like the spies proteccting national interest.

I thought the first episode had some potential, 2nd and 3rd episode were bad so I paused watching this show until the finally to see if it was worth watching, now I'm so glad I dropped it when I read comments like this.
